The Prohibition era provided Capone with an unprecedented opportunity to amass wealth.By controlling the illegal liquor trade, he built a vast criminal empire that generated millions of dollars.His lavish lifestyle, complete with expensive cars, mansions, and extravagant parties, made him a public figure, both feared and admired.
