Corliss Trojettes vs CVS Dancing Dolls 2005 | Gray Cafe Media Chicago
Before I was an 2x alumnae of WGU and a student of ISU, I was a Corliss Trojan. I really thought that Gately stadium was all ours lol. When I was there it was only Corliss, not Butler or anything else although I'm glad that Butler is able to share 103rd E. Corliss which saves it from closing.
Back then we had to darn near fight students from Harlan, Julian, and Fenger on the bus.
Back then Yummy got killed, and Larry. Crazy times in Chicago then and slightly worse now.
But through it all we had the band! I tried to be a majorette but couldn't take the hot sun beaming down on my back. Shout out to those that could and did. If I had known that I could get reduced college tuition by being in the band I would've stayed lol.
